Terrence McGee crashed to the turf and got an injury on his right shoulder in Wednesday practice, then he left the field and quit the remaining OTAS.
McGee's leaving did not ease up the competition. Reggie Corner and Ellis Lankster both contributed picks in drills.
Regulars McGee, Leodis McKelvinIt and Ashton Youboty all left the field because of injuries, and some of the non-regular DBs performed rather will in practice. It illustrated that new faces may appear in this game this season.
In the center of the stage are Corner and Lankster. Corner recorded 19 solo tackles and four breakups and Lankster had 68 tackles with three interceptions for the Mountaineers last season. Both are likely to become new stars.
