After they released defensive lineman Kenny Smith, linebacker Angelo Craig, running back Omar Cuff and defensive back Marcus McClinton, the Patriots resigned Running back Patrick Pass.
The 31-year-old RB won three Super Bowl titles in seven seasons with the Patriots from 2000 to 2006. He was in the Giants in 2007 and did not appear in football in 2008. He coming back to the Patriots just adds another heavyweight to the team's roster of running backs, which includes Laurence Maroney, Kevin Faulk, Fred Taylor, Sammy Morris and BenJarvus Green-Ellis.
The terms of the deal has not been made known to public yet. But I guess it should be considerable.
